About the RPG
Dark Pretenses is set in an alternative of present day society where vampires, witches and shapeshifters exist in secret alongside the humans. Every part of this RPG is a mixture of different sources and fandoms that have been merged together to form this RPG. The plot of the RPG aims to give players a starting point for playing the game and a good way to interact with characters of any species.
Played in a Yahoo Group, Dark Pretences is a PBEM RPG that has a high-intermediate to advanced level of writing. All applicants are required to submit an example of their writing before being accepted, and then write a detailed character profile. You won't be finding any one-liners, power-players or god-moders in this RPG; just detailed creative roleplay. We also have a friendly group of roleplayers that are happy to discuss scenes and plots with new members.
